CARPE DIEM - Animation by Dimitri Kozma

Carpe Diem is a funny and cute animated music video created by Dimitri Kozma with the music of Brazilian musician Syd Back and his band Antiphona.

The movie shows a journey following Blue and his new friend Pink in a surreal and colorful world.

Fun for all ages. Enjoy!



I've made this video mixing many animation techniques, like stop motion with clay animation, graphic animation, 3D computer graphics, 2D handmade, cutout animation, among others.

The Hell's Dog - Character Design by Dimitri Kozma

I like this funny and creepy Hell's Dog created a long time ago and just digitally painted. It's a funny cartoon character. Maybe someday I do something with this guy. Sometimes it's nice get an old illustration and reinvent it, on that case, with a color version.

This is a new animation work created by me. It's a trailer for a Brazilian book called "Bananas Podres" (Rotten Bananas) created by writer Teodoro Balaven. It's in Portuguese, but you can appreciate the images.

This is my new character created for a coming soon animation. His name is Blues Guy and I love his personality. First a created the draft by hand on paper and created the guy on digital vector graphics.

Happy Holidays Card 2011

This is my 2011 holidays greetings card. It´s a mix with collage, painting on paper, paint drops and pen details. After finished on Photoshop.

I like create something completely different each year on my traditional Santa Claus greeting card, and this year I've made this artwork very fast today. But that is the idea for every year, create a fast artwork in a different style.

Eric Flying - Children Illustration by Dimitri Kozma

This is a children illustration with the little Eric Flying in a airplane with help of some balloons. Soon I will release an Toy Art with this little guy.

All digital made with vector graphics, to use as a huge poster in Eric's 1st year birthday party.

This is a black and white illustration with a guy very scary in the middle of the night at a airplane. There's nothing special, but I like the contrast and the predominance of the black, with a small light source.

Made very fast only on Photoshop.

The Priest and the Altar Boy

This is my tribute to Church, specially the catholic church, with the excellent priests who love the little male children. Isn't?

This is a painting to hang in sacristy, I already made the golden frame, because everything from church should be made with gold. Let's pray, brothers and sisters!

Now the serious reason is to make another complaint (maybe useless?) about this stupid and sordid church and the practice of pedophilia institutionalized. Nobody care? Where is the reaction for this?

"The Priest and the Altar Boy" is a freaky style illustration made traditional and digitally colorized.

I just received this message from Renderyard, my animation "The Collector" is one of the 12 finalists. Win will be difficult, because it is for popular vote and we know how the online vote system works, don't we? You just win if you do a lot of advertising and spam.
In fact, to be selected for Renderyard critics is already a honor to me.

3rd Renderyard One Minute Challenge Finals and Winner

Last year saw a fantastic collection of one minute films ranging from experimental, media and advertising and micro films. In the final two weeks of December the public cast their votes on the overall winner of 2010 and voted Reverse The Wave the winner of the 2010 film competition.
